The Grand Theft Auto-V Alternative Multiplayer Modification website announces the closure of this alternate way to play Grand Theft Auto V multiplayer online without GTA Online, after Take-Two Interactive contacted them about it infringing on their rights. They say they are "heartbroken" over this, but that they have repeatedly stated that they have no desire to damage the company or its game. Similarly, a FiveM reddit post from the author of another upcoming Online GTA5 describes being contacted by Take-Two about shutting down the project as well. This encounter doesn't sound a cordial as the previous one, as it apparently involved a visit from a couple of private detectives. Thanks All Games Beta.
