I made my comments about the mild weather just in time, as there was our first real frost of the season overnight. The forecast still calls for things to be milder than expected for the near future, but things are changing. Since we got so little rain over the summer, it's time to start rooting for it to snow, as this area of the northeast is now considered to be in a "moderate drought," and some snow will go a long way towards keeping this from becoming a problem. I'll try to keep the big picture in mind when shoveling.
