Gearbox Software announces "major updates" in the works for Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and the console Handsome Collection of Borderlands games, including improvements for notoriously stingy item drops. Here's what's coming to the first-person shooter prequel and sequel:

The Borderlands 2 update contains some long-awaited changes including various balance changes and refinements to elemental-based skills (read: Maya buffs), adding The Fastball to Boll's loot pool, making the legendary drop rate improvements permanent, and more.
