Tonight is the opening night of the NBA season, and game one of the World Series. That makes for a rare convergence where all four major U.S. team sports are in season at the same time (though it is the postseason for Major League Baseball). Obviously I'm looking forward to the World Series, which reminds me that maybe I should say something disparaging about the Knicks' chances in the NBA this season, since my pessimism about the Mets has finally paid off to some degree. Never underestimate the power of mojo!
