Well, the Mets managed to prevail against the Dodgers, and the NLCS kicks off tonight against the loveable Cubbies, the team's big divisional rival in their first pennant chase in 1969 (before geographers determined Chicago is not actually in the east). Sports can be divisive, so I appreciate the well wishing over this many of you have expressed, as I know it must run afoul of some of your own rooting interests, so I'm glad there are mostly no hard feelings about all this.
