Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Jötunn Games announce Ceres will be released for Windows, OS X, and Linux on Friday, October 16th via digital distribution, saying a boxed retail version will follow in select European territories before the end of the month. In the meantime, they offer the launch trailer to celebrate the news. Here's a bit on the game:

Ceres is a single-player tactical space combat game, focusing on ship customization and fast, hectic combat, and is the debut title of Icelandic studio Jötunn Games. The Coming Soon page for Ceres is now live on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/351300.
