Larian Studios announces that former Obsidian designer Chris Avellone is now a "contributor" to Divinity: Original Sin II. They note on Kickstarter he is now part of the writing team for the RPG sequel, offering this video to celebrate the news, and saying: "He’s a legend among RPG fans, with some of the most impressive credentials in the world of games writing… and now he’s agreed to help us bring the characters of D:OS2 to life!"
