The tackle football season begins tonight, and as usual it seems a bit out of place this early, particularly since it was over 90 degrees in these parts yesterday. It's also still baseball season, which hasn't presented much of a conflict for me for some time, but the loveable Metsies are firmly in contention, helping this seem that much more premature. But time, tides, and kickoffs wait for no man, so here we are.
