Yesterday was the 40th anniversary of the release of Born to Run. I guess it's a sign that popular music has matured that Bruce Springsteen's magnum opus can still be relevant today. Compare this to the most popular song 40 years before the release of BtR in 1975, which was Cheek to Cheek by Fred Astaire.
