Is it really a surprise that the Jets had to cut a player for punching out their quarterback? Seems more of surprise to me that this hasn't happened several times over the years since Joe Willie Namath hung up his spikes. Joking aside, that is one wild story. The good news for Jets fans is that it's not hard to make the case that this will make them a better team, at least in the short run.
