Dustin Browder has replied to a couple of concerns about Heroes of the Storm
on Twitter, addressing one ongoing issue about the MOBA as well as a newer one. The major issue
is the game's matchmaking ranking/rating/ratio (MMR) system that many players
consider broken for its tendency to create imbalanced games. Responding to
a tweet
with a
screenshot illustrating the problem, the HotS game director
tweets:
"@itsNobbie @BlizzHeroes Team is on it. Thanks for the feedback." He also
responded to
another tweet pointing to
a video of a
player using the new Leoric character's trait of respawning in place after death
to attempt to "backdoor" a victory by relentlessly assaulting the enemy base.
Though the effort shown in the video was unsuccessful, the tactic is still an
unintended consequence, and
he replies
to this by saying: "@Lichb0rn Will fix."
