TotalBiscuit, Steam, and 30 FPS Lock-Blocking

A new video from TotalBiscuit has some cynicism about framerates from the cynical Brit, noting the large number of games on Steam capped at 30 frames-per second, generally a trickle down from games designed for less-powerful console systems. This has inspired the creation of The Framerate Police, a new Steam group dedicated to eliminating this scourge from PC gaming, or at least raising awareness of the problem. This is sort of the reverse of the traditional Steam curation, listing games to avoid due to this issue, though they also helpfully list workarounds where available to unlock the framerate, and report on possible problems such unlocks might cause. Thanks One Angry Gamer.
