Legions of Steel Released

Slitherine announces the release of Legions of Steel, offering a 10% launch discount for this science-fiction, turn-based tactics game. You can take a look at the game in a Firing Techniques trailer from the other day, the brand-new launch trailer, as well as a video on their Twitch channel of a livestream they recorded for posterity. Here's word:

The first thing you see is the sky covered by falling stars. Next you observe explosions scarring the ground and destroying your cities. When it's too late, you realize what is truly happening. Your planet doesn't belong to you anymore. It belongs to the Machines!

Legions of Steel is releasing today! The game depicts a dark future where the majority of the races inhabiting the Milky Way are driven to unite against the deadliest menace of all: endless hordes of sentient machines devoted to the annihilation of all other species. These latter formed an Alliance trying to cripple the enemy by knocking out their underground facilities. This kind of mission is not suitable for large groups of units and the Alliance is forced to rely on smaller - but better trained and equipped - squads named Commandos!

Legions of Steel is a tactical board game where battles are fought in a dark and dangerous environment. French developer Studio Nyx have managed to re-create the deep and challenging set of rules, giving players plenty of shooting and movement options.

Two challenging campaigns are designed to make you feel the sensation of fighting in a hostile and narrow complex of underground facilities, where the wrong order to only one of your men could bring the destruction of you entire squad thanks to a very pro active AI.

And if you are eager to engage other humans don't miss the chance to try our flexible and dynamic Tournament System which uses a non-elimination format. The best for a more challenging experience!
