PC Invasion reports a response from CIG to this stated: "Needless speculation into personnel matters at CIG are neither constructive, or fair to the people being talked about." The counterpoint is that this is a high-profile position for a high-profile project that rated its own announcement at  the time the former Blizzard producer joined the team, so their 920K customers/investors already on the hook for almost $85 million for the crowdfunded space game probably have a right to be concerned with this, and CIG's lack of a denial suggests such speculation is neither "needless" nor "unfair." Update: PC Invasion now confirms that Alex has left CIG, getting word from the company that "a lot" of his duties will be assumed by Erin Roberts.
