Kotaku reports that WBIE was aware of
problems with the
Windows edition of Batman: Arkham Knight, saying the information comes
from two sources who request anonymity "to avoid jeopardizing their careers."
They say both sources indicated the release came "because they believed it was
good enough," which did not turn out to be the case. "I will say that it’s
pretty rich for WB to act like they had no idea the game was in such a horrible
state,” said one source (identified as a "quality assurance tester who worked on
the game for years"). "It’s been like this for months and all the problems we
see now were the exact same, unchanged, almost a year ago." Kotaku says they made
"multiple requests for comment" from Warner Bros., but did not receive a reply.
Thanks nin.
