A post on NeoGAF discusses sales figures for the Dark Souls series, though the Famitsu article on which it was based now returns two "403 forbidden" errors (one for the page itself, and the other for the proper error message). The action/RPG series has moved more than 8 million copies since launching, and around 40 percent of these were sold for the PC platform, as they break things down to show 3.25 million copies were sold for the Windows version.
