The Knicks have the fourth pick in the draft tonight. How optimistic am I? I'll
answer with some Knicks trivia. The title David Lee won with the Golden State
Warriors is the first Knicks first-round pick to win a championship since before
the team drafted Patrick Ewing. That covers the entire 30 years of the draft
lottery. And like Lee, the last Knicks' first-rounder to win a title before that
did so with another team. So no, I'm not optimistic, but I'll be happy to be
proven wrong.
