At their E3 briefing, Microsoft unveiled plans for a new version of Minecraft using their upcoming Hololens technology, a move some predicted was the eventual plan when Microsoft scooped up Mojang for a couple of billion bucks. This video capture shows this being demonstrated live on stage in what's said to be real code running in real time. The alternating strident and laconic banter is odd, but the demonstration of the augmented reality version of the sandbox building game is impressive.
