Yesterday's "unofficial" start to summer followed a recent trend around here of the weather following the calendar pretty closely. Saturday and Sunday were both pretty cool all day, and it's been mild all spring, but yesterday was quite hot, right on schedule. This is by no means a problem, as I usually joke that spring and autumn are fairly nonexistent in this area, but after a late start we've had a pretty good run of mild spring weather this year.
