Cliffhanger Productions offers a new patch for
Shadowrun Chronicles - Boston
Lockdown.
This page has the patch notes, saying: "today’s patch is finally not about
lag (even though we still added improvements) but a whole bucket full of changes
and additions." They also promise compensation for the turn-based tactical
shooter and add that the first content update is coming at the end of this month
adding an "end game mode, new content, and gear." Here's word on the new content
along with the patch notes:
Only two weeks after launch, Cliffhanger
Productions has announced the first update containing a number of balancing
changes for items and characters.
To make up for the first (bumpy) week after its release, Cliffhanger will
provide every customer with a goodie-bag to make up for the inconvenience. Jan
Wagner, Managing Director says “We have been quite open with our communication
and we have fought day and night to solve the issues and our players have been
hugely supportive and patient. We wanted to give something back as a way of
saying thank you to our community for their understanding and encouragement.”
Players who had been active during the first week have received an additional
character slot, two unique bioware items, which cannot be bought in-game, and
three consumable flamethrowers (so they can flame enemies and think of the
developers when they get angry).
MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS & BALANCING
- The Rigger has been rebalanced: Drone background
bonuses have been reduced, the base damage of the Renraku drone has gone
down, damage on mark has been reduced and the evade of the combat drone has
also been altered slightly.
- Jane’s, Sarah’s, Buster’s and Payday’s Crit Damage
Bonus has been reduced.
- Added several weapons to fill gaps in the
Shopkeeper’s lists.
- The Gear and Cyberware Screens now show tooltips
for stats.
- Players now gain Karma for finishing a run (which
everyone participating gets, regardless of his progress in the storyline)
and for handing in the run, so Karma grind is not as easy. This does not
change the total amount of Karma you gain when playing through the story.
- Prices for items in shops have been adjusted.

the audio narration to be played regardless.
- Skill Icons won’t overlap consumable items in 5:4
aspect ratios anymore.

action camera views.
- Smedley won’t suddenly pop up anymore after
handing in “Who let the dogs out”.
