A thread on reddit features discussion from players who've had their Rockstar Social Club accounts hijacked, pointing to sources indicating some sort of widespread account thefts have occurred since the launch of Grand Theft Auto V for PC. Kotaku Australia has a statement from Rockstar saying this is not due to an security compromise on their network, saying: "For the accounts affected, we are in the process of reverting those accounts back to their original owners. As a reminder, it is a good policy to ensure that the Rockstar Games Social Club account username and password is not shared across multiple websites on the internet."
