NFL hall of fame quarterback Joe Montana tweets about plans to revive Joe Montana Football, the tackle football simulation that had its heyday back when Joe Cool was establishing himself as the greatest clutch QB of all time. His brief tweet (not that there are lengthy tweets) also reveals what engine this will use, saying: "It just got Unreal @unrealengine #joemontanafootball16." A post on Heavy.com discusses the implications of this, noting that EA's license probably means this won't use actual NFL players (presuming SEGA will continue as publisher), and the screenshot with Joe Cool's tweet shows him and other players wearing non-NFL uniforms. They do say it's possible this will include some former players, however, and the speculation is we will learn more about all this at E3.
