GameSpot has a statement from WBIE about plans for LEGO: The Hobbit which does not confirm they had plans for a Battle of the Five Armies expansion, but does confirm that no such add-on will be released for the game. They say the publisher "informally" announced such an expansion at the London Toy Fair, but now tells them "there are no plans to develop DLC based on the final film of the trilogy." They also state they are not working on a separate game based on the third Hobbit movie either. Thanks Polygon.
