The newly unveiled Real.com Games has released a standalone version of Team Fortress 1.5 as either a free (but limited) download (registration required) or also as a full version for $30. This version of TF 1.5 does not require the Half-Life CD (or Half-Life at all, for that matter), and is completely compatible with existing TF servers and even user-made levels.
