A detailed preview of Echelon, the upcoming space-sim from Buka Entertainment and Bethesda Softworks, is up at GameSpot. The preview is based on an incomplete, pre-alpha copy of the game, but contains plenty of gameplay details, a whole lot of screenshots, and even an amusing story about how the game is related to the 1988 game of the same name.
