Razer's Game Streaming

WIRED has details on Razer's new Forge TV units, a set-top box that can natively play Android games and also stream games wirelessly over your home network. This coincides with the launch of Razer Cortex: Stream, new software to allow streaming to an Android TV. They say this will support all DirectX 9 games, and that they have a proprietary game streaming codec which provides "ultra low latency." Here are the particulars:

Bring all your PC Games to your Living Room
Play your favorite PC titles while lounging on your couch, without the need for an entire PC rig near your TV. Razer Cortex: Stream is connected to Razer Cortex on your PC, and streams your entire library directly onto your Android TV console, so you’ll be able to enjoy fully functional responsive controls as you game in your living room.

Ultra-Low Latency due to Proprietary Encoding
Developed specifically for streaming and remote gameplay, Razer Cortex: Stream uses a proprietary encoding technology to bring you the lowest latency possible. Now, you no longer need to be frustrated by rubber-banding or screen freezes as you enjoy the most reactive gameplay possible.

Crystal-Clear Resolution - Play in 1080p
Dominate in phenomenal clarity as Razer Cortex: Stream streams your game in up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. With a router that supports up to 6 MBs, Razer Cortex: Stream allows you to game in full-HD, and by intelligently adjusting the resolution according to your current bandwidth, you can be sure you’ll have nothing short of peak performance every time.
