Eurogamer has details on a poll recently sent out to Far Cry players asking for opinions on future directions for the first-person shooter series. The franchise doesn't have a single signature motif, and the areas they are exploring follow that, as they look for interest in new gameplay "where you can fight against or join vampires," or in "a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic world," or "a Far Cry game set in the modern day on a Jurassic Park-style island with dinosaurs". Oh yeah, also zombies. They contacted Ubisoft about this, but the publisher declined to comment.
