Happy Festivus! Here's a grievance to air... it struck me that someone out there was probably (or definitely) selling Festivus poles. Sure enough, it was easy to find them on Amazon, but in general these are from folks looking to charge $50.00-$60.00 for itty-bitty "poles." The good news is that if you just search for an aluminum pole without specifying Festivus, a world of options opens up, including ski poles, tent poles, and most promising of all, flag poles. I got on this too late for this year, but next year I might just have a real Festivus pole. Or maybe not, as a year is a long time to rethink this.
