Someone was honking their horn outside to get someone's attention in their house this morning, so I went out to explain that the horn is not a doorbell (a pet peeve of mine), especially early on the weekend. It turns out this was the same neighbor with whom I had a confrontation with years ago about being noisy outside with his kids at the crack of dawn on the weekend. This actually made me go easier than I would have, and I think my simple question of "was that your horn?" got my point across, as he seemed suitably apologetic.

Hey, it's 12/13/14 in U.S. date notation! Sorry Europe, unless they add a 13th month real fast, you're left out of this one.
