I mentioned that we were seeing commercials for Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning around here after using the stuff for years, but have still not seen it in any stores, which is what you'd naturally assume would follow. When asked what it was for, I said the only thing I personally used it for is rice and beans, but with the holidays upon us, I now recall this is also my go to seasoning for Chex Mix. The batch of Chex Mix I made for Thanksgiving finished off the last of my seasoning, so in spite of all those commercials, it looks like I'm going to have to mail order a new supply.
