Epic Games announces a first round of invitations have gone out for alpha testing of Fortnite, saying this first online test of their upcoming action/building game will run from tomorrow until December 19th. These initial invites have gone out to the game's community, and those interested in getting in on future testing can sign up on the Fortnite website. Here's word on testing: "During this phase of the Alpha, Epic is testing to verify at a larger scale that the basic systems in the game function properly, from sign-ups and patching, to gameplay. Epic is devoted to taking its time and working with players to make Fortnite a great experience."
