It was right around the time I decided my twisted ankle was taking too long to heal (or heel) that it began to improve more quickly, another endorsement of the curative powers of complaining. I am mostly over this by now which means I was surely wrong in my amateur diagnosis that this was a high ankle sprain, and in fact I see that that variety is specifically caused by a twist in the other direction, so someone should revoke my not-medical license after I got that one so wrong. Anyway, it's good news that I'm getting around better.
