A new free content update is now available for both Rising Storm and Red Orchestra 2 on Steam, offering a new map and reworked older maps for the military shooters. This coincides with a big sale on the series, and a free weekend to allow the chance to check all this out. Here's a trailer and here's word:

Today, Tripwire Interactive and Anti-Matter Games are pleased to announce the release of the Armored Assault 2 Free Content Pack for the combined RO2/Rising Storm games. The new pack has yet more free content for both Rising Storm and Red Orchestra 2 - one all-new map, plus older maps updated for the recently-released light tanks. To make sure that everyone gets a chance to try the new content out, Rising Storm is available to play FOR FREE until Monday 24th November.
