Shugashack has posted an e-mail they received from a Macworld attendee explaining what would appear to be the surprise id Software's Graeme Devine hinted at in his .plan update the other day (story). According to the e-mail, Graeme is at the show demonstrating the Quake III Arena mission pack under the new Mac OS X, with a video card powered by ATI's Radeon chipset. It's possible that this was supposed to happen during the keynote, as IMG Magazine is reporting that ATI was originally planning on unveiling Mac systems with Radeon cards this morning, only to have it canceled at the last minute when the news leaked out early.
