Activation announces the release of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Day Zero Edition, a first version of the shooter sequel that has an
ephemeral 24 hour shelf life. This allows players to get into the military
shooter sequel and interact with a virtual Kevin Spacey one day before owners of
lowly not-Day Zero editions, but that's not all: "In addition to up to 24 hours
of early access, the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition also gives
players access to two custom in-game weapons, the AK-12G assault rifle and
Crossbow-B2, a full day of double XP on November 3, and access to the Advanced
Arsenal. The Advanced Arsenal consists of an in-game custom Bullet Brass
exoskeleton and in-game custom EM1 Quantum weapon." Developer Sledgehammer Games refers to their new release as "the most
ambitious project of our careers" and Glen Schofield says calling it "a passion
