Former Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello is assuming the role of CEO of Unity as company co-founder David Helgason announces he is stepping down from the post to concentrate on strategy and connecting with developers, saying these are the things he loves the most about working at the engine developer. Helgason calls Riccitiello "the right person to help guide the company to the mission that we set out for ourselves over a decade ago: democratize game development."
