As a Mets fan I tend to stop paying attention to baseball when the team is out of the playoff hunt, which is usually late April. The playoffs have actually caught my interest this year, however, as almost two out of every three games in the postseason have been decided by one run. Baseball can be exciting in its own way when it's played well. Someone should force the Mets management to watch to remind them of that fact.
