I meant to make another mention of the "blood moon" lunar eclipse today, but it turns out when they said it was the 8th, they meant the wee hours this morning, so if you were relying on me for a reminder about this (and why would you be?) I've let you down. My apologies. As it turns out this was at 5:00 am local time, so it's probably best to let pictures suffice for this. Word is there will be two blood moons next year, so there may be better opportunities to experience this going forward.
