Even with the high quality series the cable networks have brought to raise the standards of television over recent years, most of them still seem pretty ready to go by their final seasons... I'm finding Boardwalk Empire to be the opposite, with almost every season more compelling than the last. The final season is now halfway done, and I find myself already missing it.
