Racing game specialist SimBin is no more, having gone through the bankruptcy process in Sweden to facilitate a restructuring, resulting in the formation of a new company named Sector 3 Studios, which will continue development of RaceRoom Racing Experience, the simulation they began as SimBin. This reported on Develop, where former SimBin COO Christopher Speed explains the bankruptcy was the "easiest" way to conduct the restructuring they sought, indicating this process cost 18 employees their jobs. "I formed Sector 3 to first try and keep as much of the talent SimBin employed as possible,” the aptly named Speed explains. "I also believe in RaceRoom Racing Experience as a product and the surrounding commercial ventures that were spawning from it."
