Happy labor day to those here in the U.S. who are celebrating by not laboring. Yesterday turned out to be the washout I anticipated, so I actually cooked indoors last night (Manstovia is on the other side of the house from the kitchen, so hopefully none of the citizenry spotted my heresy). Things look nicer out there today, so there may still be a chance to celebrate the holiday with a little grilling. Speaking of celebrations and memorials, yesterday would have been Hudson the wonder dog's 14th birthday, and since this was always an excuse to indulge both doggies, the Gunnar-man got some extra attention to celebrate, which was nice.
