The official website for Drone: Zero Gravity now offers a playable demo of this side-scrolling 3D space adventure game. Here's the description the demo carries:

This is the first public release of DRONE Zero Gravity. In this demo you can test out two short levels. Please read the README doc. This is a 32bit version of the demo. You will need the 32bit version x86 of Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 in order to run it. A 64bit version will be available sometime early next month. With more updates.
