So we have one of those supermoons going at the moment, which is coinciding with the start of the Perseids meteor showers. This is an interesting coincidence, though not beneficial to stargazers, as the brighter moon will make the bright meteors harder to see. The BlueTower is too close to New York City to have great conditions to see such things, though it's a lot better than you might imagine, considering how bright it is in the city that never sleeps.
