Lords of the Black Sun Early Access Adds Multiplayer

Publisher Iceberg Interactive announces a major update to the Steam Early Access beta for Lords of the Black Sun, Arkavi Studios' upcoming 4x space strategy game. This update has details on the new version 1.2 patch, which adds multiplayer support along with a bunch of other changes. Word is: "Players are now able to forge in-game alliances with their best pals, or squash them with a galactic onslaught, in this original turn-based strategy game." Here's a refresher on the game:

In Lords of the Black Sun you take command of one race to join the struggle for supremacy in the galaxy. As the leader of your empire you are tasked with exploring the stars, colonizing new worlds, managing your empire and conquering whoever dares to oppose you. Within a framework of turn-based strategy and turn-based combat, Lords of the Black Sun endeavours to differentiate itself by allowing players to beat their opponents by using Generals, diplomacy, intelligence, trading, or plotting the downfall of enemies by financing wars against them or aiming to cause anarchy.
