Ubisoft announces Watch Dogs has set their company record for first day sales, by selling some completely undisclosed number of copies, saying this is based on internal estimates of worldwide sales. There are lots of quotes, but no concrete numbers in a related update on the UbiBlog, and Ubi has never announced a one-day sales record before, so there's nothing to base an estimate on. The closest we can recall is an announcement from 2012 that Assassin's Creed III had set a first month record by selling over 7 million units.
