Early Access to Infinite Space III: Sea of Stars is now available on Steam, offering the chance to play preliminary versions of Digital Eel's upcoming space adventure sequel. Here's word:

Even as development continues, we're very excited to be able to share Sea of Stars early with Kickstarter backers and the gaming community at large. Steam's Early Access allows you to play work-in-progress versions of the game (new build updates are automatic), provide critical feedback and actually help shape its creation.

Infinite Space III: Sea of Stars follows the design tradition of its precursors, Strange Adventures in Infinite Space (2002) and Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space (2005) with turn-based space exploration, real-time starship combat and roguelike elements. Sea of Stars differs in that it is presented in 3D and offers new features and content as well.
