Daedalic Entertainment announces Munin, an upcoming Windows and OS X game they say will offer "Nordic mythology meets puzzle-platforming" when it's released this spring. The game is shown off in these screenshots, and here's word:

Munin the raven, faithful messenger to Odin, now stands stripped of wings and transformed by Loki into a mortal girl. Flightless and determined, she will stride through the nine worlds of Yggdrasil to reclaim the lost feathers and return to Asgard.

From Portuguese developer Gojira and publisher Daedalic Entertainment, Munin is an upcoming 2D puzzle-platformer for Windows and Mac that fuses physics-based puzzles with Nordic mythology.

Munin bolsters the traditional side-scrolling experience with the use of rotating environments to surpass obstacles. By twisting portions of the environment, players will create bridges from pillars, turn walls into floors, and use physics to manipulate boulders, liquid, and lava.

Munin features 77 levels stretching across nine distinct worlds. It will be released for PC and Mac in all major online shops in spring 2014.
