Early access to the beta version of HAWKEN is now being offered through Steam. Accompanying this is a post with a bunch of posts to help players with prior experience in the mech shooter, pointing the way to a Steam Transition Guide, a Steam Transition FAQ, and more. Early Access involves buying a bundle, but the game will be free-to-play when it launches. Here's a new HAWKEN trailer, and here's word:

HAWKEN features 5 game modes: Team Deathmatch, Co-Op Bot Destruction, Missile Assault, Siege and Deathmatch. Each mode offers a unique gameplay experience that requires a different approach and hones a separate set of skills.

Strike fear into the hearts of your opponents with the Nemesis Bundle. This pack comes with 9 mechs, each with its additional weapon unlocked, an exclusive Bloody HAWKEN Pilot Emblem, and the Spooky Ghost Repair Drone (RD-B00).
