Happy New Year's Eve, as we bid a fond fondue to the year that was. There are no regrets here about that, it was kind of a rough year, so the idea that turning the page on the calendar will help turn the corner on that is appealing. Here's hoping 2013 was better for you, and that 2014 is even better still for all of us. And in that vein, please be careful if you are out an about this evening, as there will be a lot of amateur drinkers doing ill-advised things like operating motor vehicles, something that can put a damper on any celebration. And to those of you already living in the future, please just enjoy your flying cars and don't spoil anything for the rest of us.
