Out of the Blue

Happy Veteran's Day, which is being celebrated here in the U.S. today. Here's a salute to veterans everywhere, as putting your own safety on the line for the sake of others deserves the utmost respect. This is always celebrated on a Monday, but today this occasion falls on its actual date, which was originally Armistice Day, celebrating the end of World War I. I like to note that, because celebrating the end of a world war is as close as we come to celebrating world peace, something that doesn't seem to ever have existed, but remains an admirable goal.
